The blogging process was an interesting learning experience for me. Blogging has become more popular in recent days and it is important for us as future teachers to be familiar with the concept of blogging.
During this blogging process I came to know the importance of my career as a teacher. This blogging process required of me to do introspection in myself as a future teacher. Whether or not I'm capable of and have the needed characteristics of a good teacher. It also gave me the confirmation that I am on the right path.
Blogging is a very usable tool express your thoughts and opinions. Through blogging you can also help others. Blogging is a teaching instrument which can be accessible at any time. This was just another eye opener that showed that one can learn from anything everyday.

Social media is in the classroom
With today's technology more teachers make use of social media in the classroom. I don't think, or let's say believe, in social media in the classroom. The reason why is because, if you think carefully, socially media can question teachers ability to teach.
Not all material of social media can be trusted and it is not academically accredited. A lot of post on social media is also opinions of the people and not facts. Social media can also be very expensive for some schools. So why bring in social media at all in some school? Treat schools fair and lets leave out social media in the system. Social media can however be used as a research source only for homework project but not within the classroom because it disturb the attention and focus of the learner.
Some teachers do get lazy as well with social media in the class. They depend on social media for the learners to get the required knowledge. Thus do I believe that social media within the classroom will only be more a disturbance rather than a source of learning material.

Teaching practices' influence on me as a teacher
Teaching practice didn't change my idea of how I see myself as a good teacher. It, however only justified my idea of how I see myself as a teacher.
During my teaching practice I've come to the realization that teaching is my calling. This realization came from the way I manage my class, the respect I got from the learners and also the mentor teachers. I also notice the satisfaction of how I'd presented my lessons in the class on the learners faces. This gave me great joy and also confidence in my ability to teach. Teaching practice helped me shaped my view of how I see myself as a teacher.

ME AS A TEACHER
Having in mind the characteristics of a good teacher, I can evaluate myself on that. "With all these characteristics in mind I can see no other reason why we all don't want to be a good teacher. I am confident that I will be a good teacher because I am currently tick most of these boxes of a good teacher. I am a very good communicator and knows how to talk to people. I can get peoples attention and also keep it for a period of time. In addition to that am I also a person who can commit and stay committed on a project. Lastly, am I understandable individual, whom always have room and time to understand other peoples circumstances and is not fast to judge people. this is why I'm confident that I will be one of the best teacher one day!"
From the above self-evaluation I see myself as a very dedicated teacher. Dedicated not only towards my work but also towards the academic development of every pupil in my classroom. Moreover do I see myself as a teacher who is caring, loving and unbiased. This will ensure that the learners have confidence in me and also in their studies. Thus will this lead to better academic record and performances of the pupils.

A Good Teacher
Teaching is the most important occupation of them all. Yes people I believe that teachers is utmost important because they create other careers. Without teachers there wont be any lawyers, doctors, managers, policemen, ect.. With this in mind it is important that teachers must have good characteristics. so what is the characteristics of a "good" teacher?
Firstly a good teacher knows how interact with the learners (physically, and mentally). Secondly, a good teacher gives affection to the pupils, makes them understand what emotion is and thus also how to act like a professional. Thirdly, a good teacher smiles to his/her pupils even when they work on his/her last nerves and shows endurance.
Furthermore, a good teacher teaches not only text book materials but also the truth that's happening outside in the real world. Practice balanced with theory. The teacher is therefore very updated on the latest trends on what is happening within their specific learning subject. With this being said, it is therefore very important that a good teacher dedicates him/herself to the job. A good teacher are committed to the job and show interests. A good is lastly a parent or guardian. A good teacher understands that a child is not only a tiny bundle of joy that can cry, smile, laugh. He/she must understand that in front of him stands a true miracle of life.
