Social media is in the classroom

With today's technology more teachers make use of social media in the classroom. I don't think, or let's say believe, in social media in the classroom. The reason why is because, if you think carefully, socially media can question teachers ability to teach.

Not all material of social media can be trusted and it is not academically accredited. A lot of post on social media is also opinions of the people and not facts. Social media can also be very expensive for some schools. So why bring in social media at all in some school? Treat schools fair and lets leave out social media in the system. Social media can however be used as a research source only for homework project but not within the classroom because it disturb the attention and focus of the learner.

Some teachers do get lazy as well with social media in the class. They depend on social media for the learners to get the required knowledge. Thus do I believe that social media within the classroom will only be more a disturbance rather than a source of learning material.
